Roseville Club Proposes $31 Million Seven-Level Development with Apartments and Club

The Roseville Club, a popular venue on Pacific Highway in Roseville, lodges new plans to transform their current one-story building into a new seven-level development. This plan includes a new club and 37 apartments for people to live in.

The location at 64-66 and part of 62 Pacific Highway, Roseville is close to the Roseville train station and bus services on the Pacific Highway. Right now, it’s a registered club with a licensed place which they want to make it even better for their members and guests. The club currently has around 1100 members. Most of the people who go to the club are between 35 and 65 years old.

As part of the plans, they’ll need to knock down the old club and start fresh. The new club on the ground floor will offer dining experiences. On top of that, there will be seven levels with apartments in different sizes, from one to four bedrooms, to fit people’s needs.

The plans also include four basement levels of parking with 90 parking spaces for visitors, staff, and future residents. The area around the building will have beautiful landscaping, and the rooftop will be a shared space for residents to enjoy. This new proposal is five times bigger than the current venue, going from 820 to 4,124 square metres.

The previous development plan met opposition from the locals, particularly, they didn’t agree with the plan to use some land next to the club as part of the development. But now, they’re trying again and already made an offer to Ku-ring-gai Council to acquire the land at the Larkin Lane frontage of the site where they plan to extend the basement levels under this strip of land.

If everything goes well, the new development can create more jobs for locals and offer homes for 37 families who need a place to live.
